Major League Baseball handed out punishments Friday to six players, both managers and a coach after reviewing Wednesday night's game. For the Marlins, pitcher Chris Volstad received a six-game suspension.

The last of the original Houston Texans is gone. The team has cut kicker Kris Brown, the only player remaining from the inaugural 2002 season. Brown's agent, Glenn Schwartzman confirmed the move Friday, which was first reported by KRIV-TV and the Houston Chronicle.
